2020 Hunger Free Communities Virtual Summit

Registration is open for the 2020 Hunger Free Communities Virtual Summit.  The event will be held on November 18th and 19th from 10:00am – 3:30 PM AZ and for the first time, registration is FREE!

Hosted by the Alliance to End Hunger, the goals of the 2020 Hunger Free Communities Virtual Summit are to understand the changing landscape of hunger and build resilience for post-pandemic America. They will accomplish this by highlighting effective policies and methods for reducing community food insecurity; sharing best practices and resources; demonstrating effective multi-sector collaborations; and building skills among practitioners.

Join this vital organization as they convene digitally with a variety of sessions including keynote speakers, plenary panels, roundtables, and breakout workshops. The summit will highlight how Alliance stakeholders are responding to COVID-19, as well as breakout sessions on a variety of topics including using technology to improve food access, LGBTQ hunger, racial equity, and advancing food security in healthcare.

Registration is FREE and open to all. Please spread the word!

The organizers are using the digital platform Whova for this year’s conference.

Once you have registered you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to download Whova on your cell phone. You must download Whova on your phone to access the conference.  After downloading the app, you may also access the conference from your computer.
