Welcome Hunger Fighters! This annual 2-day event brings together the Alliance to End Hunger’s extensive national and community network — the Hunger Free Communities Network — and attracts hundreds of participants from across the country.
Ticket prices are $25 per person.
We explore solutions and best practices for ending hunger in the United States, both at the community level and with the policies that underpin this work at the federal level. The HFC Summit brings together people representing multiple sectors including governments, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, corporations, foundations, students and community residents.
This year, we will focus on how the outcome of the mid-terms elections are likely to impact the prospect for fighting hunger at the federal level, as well as, the next steps resulting from the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health.
In addition, at this year's summit, in an effort to highlight the great work of our Hunger Free Communities Network partners, we are initiating a new Hunger Free Community Award. The HFC Award will be presented to one partner who has done outstanding work in the last year to end hunger in their community.
