Bread for the World National Meeting with Rev. David Beckmann

In February, Bread for the World launched the 2026 Offering of Letters campaign with more than 500 advocates online! During and following the launch, more than 400 pledged to hold an Offering of Letters in their churches, campus, or small groups. Now it’s time to be inspired and equipped for the work ahead!

Join Bread’s next quarterly national online meeting on Thursday, April 23 at 8:00 p.m. EDT (5:00 p.m. PDT), featuring a very special guest, Rev. David Beckmann, president emeritus of Bread for the World. You won’t want to miss this meeting!

Register

At this meeting, Bread staff will share:

  • Updates and progress on the Offering of Letters and related legislation

  • Information about the upcoming Advocacy Summit in Washington, DC (June 9-10) and how you can be a part of it, whether you're able to join us in person or not

  • Next steps and a roadmap for continued action in 2026

Rev. Beckmann will close our time together with a preview of his new book, Poverty Abolitionists: Faith, Activism, and Hope for Difficult Times, and what it means for the work for Bread for the World.

Register today for the next national online meeting, and bring some friends! Now more than ever, we need more people, in more places, working together to urge Congress to make ending hunger a top priority.
