BFW Southwest Regional Update

Put your faith into action for our neighbors facing hunger--near and far

Join Bread for the World’s Deputy Director of Organizing and Faith Engagement, Zach Schmidt, and others in our area for an update on BFW’s farm bill campaign, including what they have accomplished with the Offering of Letters and their recent Advocacy Summit in DC. You will also hear about some new and important legislative developments related to domestic and global hunger. And you will be informed and oriented for in-district meetings and other actions during the upcoming August congressional recess, as we advance our campaign for a faithful farm bill.

These meetings are held on a quarterly basis to educate, encourage and equip individuals and groups as we advocate for a world without hunger. The meetings include updates on important legislation, small group discussion with fellow advocates, and next steps to put our faith into action for our neighbors facing hunger--near and far. You will also have an opportunity to connect with fellow Bread members and advocates in the Southwest.

This event is for educators, administrators, school board members, school board candidates, parents, faith leaders, and concerned community leaders.

Southwest Regional Webinar (AZ, NM, OK, TX) hosted by Zach Schmidt. Please register even if you are unable to attend. This ensures you will receive the recording and follow-up information.
