NLIHC’s Virtual Housing Policy Forum 2021: A New Day, taking place March 30-31, 12-5:30 pm ET, will feature a session on the ways the COVID-19 pandemic exposed significant gaps in our housing and homelessness safety net, exacerbated racial inequities, and underscored the need for long-term structural reforms. NLIHC will be joined by U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Marcia Fudge, Nan Roman from the National Alliance to End Homelessness, Dianne Enriquez from the Center for Popular Democracy, and Marc Dones from the National Innovation Service for a panel discussion on lessons learned from this crisis and the structural reforms needed in federal homelessness and housing policy.
