Interfaith Service Event

Join Arizona Faith Network for an afternoon of community service. Together we will pack heat relief bags for community members and cooling centers to hand out to those in need of heat relief. Donations are needed! You can donate funds to help AFN acquire supplies or purchase heat relief items listed below and bring them to our packing night. If you would like to ship donation items directly to AFN please contact Katie.Sexton@azfaithnetwork.org for an address.

GCS Congregations who are heat relief stations:

• Grace Lutheran Church

• St. John’s Lutheran Church

• See all the Heat Relief Stations in the Phoenix Metro area

Each Heat Relief Bag Will Include:

• Bottled Water

• Granola Bar or Snack

• Travel Size First Aid Kit

• Travel Wet Wipes

• Travel Sun Screen

• Lotion

• Chapstick

• Information Cards on Heat Relief Assistance, Cooling Center Location, and Free Transportation Information
