AFN and partners seeking Heat Relief supplies

As Arizona enters another season of extreme heat, Arizona Faith Network (AFN) is mobilizing a network of compassion and care—and you are invited to take part.

Heat Relief Sites are now open across the Valley, providing hydration, cooling, and essential support for our unhoused neighbors and those vulnerable to extreme temperatures. You can help in several meaningful ways: volunteer onsite, donate water or sun protection gear, or contribute financially. Every action helps save lives.

In addition, AFN is hosting “Bags of Hope” Interfaith Bag-Packing Events to distribute essential supplies through our relief sites:

  • Tucson: Sunday, June 29, 3:30–5:30 pm at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church

  • Tempe: Sunday, July 20, 3:30–5:30 pm at Community Christian Church

All are welcome to attend, donate items, or ship supplies directly via Amazon Wish List. These events offer a tangible way to build interfaith community while offering lifesaving support.
