2023 Arizona Farm to School Gathering

Calling all local food enthusiasts, educators, producers, and community leaders!

Step into a world of fresh flavors, hands-on learning, and connections that grow strong roots in our communities.

October 19th & 20th

The Arizona Farm to School Gathering is an annual celebration dedicated to showcasing the amazing work being done to cultivate healthy relationships between farms and schools. It is for anyone wanting to enrich the connection communities have with fresh food and local producers by changing food purchasing and education practices at schools and in education settings. Whether you are a seasoned advocate for your local food systems, or you’re thinking about starting your very first garden, this event is for you!

We welcome child nutrition program operators , educators, administrators, legislators, researchers, farmers, ranchers, growers, gardeners, food system advocates, program specialists, community members, volunteers, and anyone else who wants to learn!

This year’s Farm to School Gathering is a two-day hybrid event, meaning there are opportunities for everyone to participate! We will be hosting field trips to local farms and school sites in the Phoenix, Tucson, and Prescott areas, as well as virtual sessions from leaders in the field. Learn more at azfarmtoschool.org and follow @azf2s on Instagram.
