ELCA Embraces Creation Care with the Launch of "One Home One Future"

Symbols can often speak louder than words, as seen when spotting that recognizable four-color globe with a cross indicating an ELCA congregation. But soon, a new symbol will begin adorning places of worship, telling an evocative story about creation care and climate action. On October 4, the ELCA, in collaboration with various faith traditions, unveiled the "One Home One Future" campaign.

Presiding Bishop Elizabeth A. Eaton passionately conveyed the essence of this initiative:

A call to every ELCA congregation to actively embrace and uphold their responsibility towards creation care. By participating in this campaign, congregations not only signal their commitment to protecting our shared home but also access valuable resources, training, and tools courtesy of ecoAmerica’s Blessed Tomorrow program.
