National Strategy on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health

Wednesday, September 28 (tomorrow) is the much anticipated White House Hunger Summit on Hunger, Nutrition and Health. There is a lot of excitement in the hunger community (and a lot of fancy receptions tonight and tomorrow). In advance of the summit, the WH today released a National Strategy on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health:

The strategy outlines a whole-of-society effort to reduce poverty, get food to people who need it and improve nutrition, fitness and health across our society. The strategy has been created by working through an interagency working group of 27 departments and agencies and outlines their respective areas of responsibility. The strategy also commits the President to working with Congress on a number of issues, notably the re-expansion of the CTC and EITC.

President Biden will deliver remarks at the summit in the early afternoon (Eastern) go to https://health.gov/our-work/nutrition-physical-activity/white-house-conference-hunger-nutrition-and-health/conference-details
