Action Alert: Check Your Legislative District

Happy New Year LAMA Friends!

As we prepare for Arizona’s legislative session to start on January 8th (and Lutheran Day At The Legislature on Jan 18th!), we encourage you to find out what legislative district you live in.

Whether you are brand new to your advocacy practice, or a seasoned advocate, it is worth double-checking your districting information before the session begins. We have recently brought many first time advocates into the LAMA fold, and in 2023, Arizona re-drew its districts to reflect the most recent census data. Many people now live in different districts than they have for the last decade.

This week, take a couple of minutes to check your district number and get to know who your officials are. Using the AZ legislature’s Find My Legislature feature, search for your district with your address and find your representatives in the member roster.
