Sign up to be a block captain

Valley Interfaith Project is recruiting Block Captains to engage voters in conversations about what is most important to them and their families in this election.

The VIP Voter Engagement Project is focusing on specific neighborhoods, where turnout is historically low, in critical school and legislative districts.

VIP is recruiting Block Captains who:

  1. Care about voter participation.

  2. Are curious about people, what is important to them and what will make them a voter.

  3. Are willing to attend a 1-hour training by Zoom.

  4. Are willing to help identify and organize 10 households in a selected neighborhood, and make sure that they vote.

They will work with you to train you and provide the materials you need to be successful. This no-contact/socially-distanced strategy will be completely by text, phone and online.

This effort is not supporting any candidate or political party.
