Will you be a district coordinator for Lutheran Day this year?

We need your help — don’t worry, we’ll train you!

Volunteer to be your legislative district’s coordinator for Lutheran Day at the Legislature this year!

Being your district’s coordinator is a wonderful opportunity to participate in Lutheran Day at the Legislature in a whole new way. The duties are few, but vital to the success of our day at the legislature:

  • Secure appointments with your three district representatives via their administrative assistants, and remind them 2-3 days before of the event

  • Connect with your district participants at least once before the event via email (LAMA will provide a list of participants from your district)

  • Update LAMA on your appointment progress via email or a shared Google document

  • Participate in training opportunities as outlined by LAMA and partners (no more than two)

  • Gather participants from your district day-of, coordinate times and places for your group

  • Start the introductions and lead the conversation during your legislative appointments

  • Deliver the leave-behind packet to all three legislators in your district, and thank them for their service.
