Arizona Hunger Policy Retreat

Hunger advocates in Arizona will gather at Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center on Wednesday, August 17 for a full-day retreat to discuss hunger policy in Arizona. The Arizona Hunger Policy Workgroup partners, including Arizona Food Bank Network, Arizona Food Systems Network, Bread for the World, WHEAT, Arizona Faith Network and Lutheran Advocacy Ministry Arizona (LAMA) invite all Arizona hunger advocates to discuss how our state legislators might address food insecurity in Arizona in the 2023 legislative session.

The retreat is from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center, 7415 E Elbow Bend Road, Carefree, Arizona. Accommodations will be made for travelers to stay overnight on Tuesday, free of charge.
