Anti-Hunger Day at the Capitol
Monday, February 3, 2025 is Arizona Food Bank Network’s annual Anti-Hunger Day at the Capitol! This is a great opportunity to learn about the core work and community programming at food banks and how you can support anti-hunger policies like continued funding for school meals in the state budget.
Lutheran Day at the Legislature
Lutherans from across the state will gather at the Arizona Capitol in Wesley Bolin Plaza for a day of advocacy on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm to learn, to witness, and voice our common needs in the public square, activating our faith in love.

Do you have an RTS account but don’t know quite how to use it? Need a refresher? This 30-minute training will equip participants to use Arizona’s Request to Speak (RTS) system in preparation for the upcoming legislative session.

Join AFN for an interfaith prayer circle and walk to celebrate Arizona Public Lands Day. Participate in an interfaith prayer circle and meditation prior to the walk. Each mile of the prayer walk will feature a different prayer or meditation from a faith tradition in Arizona.

Hunger advocates in Arizona will gather for a full-day retreat to discuss hunger policy in Arizona. All Arizona hunger advocates are invited to discuss how our state legislators might address food insecurity in Arizona in the 2023 legislative session.

Hybrid HungerWalk to benefit the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona
Participate in the 2021 HungerWalk at home or in a location of your choice, practicing guidelines for social distancing. The event also offers in-person meet-ups for small groups (numbers will be limited; RSVP is required) from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in six locations throughout Southern Arizona.
