Bread for the World Virtual Advocacy Summit

Bread for the World Virtual Advocacy Summit: The Power of Our Voice

This year’s event will take place on Monday, June 6 and Tuesday, June 7. Due to the ongoing pandemic, a limited number of participants will join us in Washington, D.C., while others will participate virtually.

We will gather during unprecedented times. The global pandemic that gripped the world a couple of years ago has eased by some measures. But food insecurity continues to be a concern – both in the U.S. and abroad. The end of emergency unemployment and SNAP benefits, and food inflation is preventing many U.S. families from finding enough food to eat.

At the same time, the world is facing a worsening hunger crisis – exacerbated by rising food prices and the invasion of Ukraine.

Join Bread for the World as we carry our collective voice through the halls of Congress to advocate for policies that address hunger and give struggling families in the U.S. and around the world a chance at a healthy and prosperous life.
