Poll Monitor Training

PROTECT THE VOTE IN AZ

Every voter who wants to cast their ballot, should be able to do so. That means our community members need to feel safe enough to make their voices heard at the polls, in a state that has historically ignored them. So join the Election Protection AZ team as a Poll Monitor, and play an integral part in holding your community in strength and compassion this General Election.

Poll Monitors are the volunteer eyes and ears on the ground outside voting sites on Election Day to help voters in the moment, and to report incidents ranging from poor accessibility of the site to outright intimidation. At this training, you'll learn the basics of AZ election law and the most common barriers that voters can face. Becoming a Poll Monitor is an easy way for you and your friends to be a welcoming face at the polls and support voters through what can be a confusing process. We are the helpers our communities deserve!

RSVP to receive Zoom link.

During this training you'll receive directions on how to get an assignment for Poll Monitoring on Election Day or during the early voting period. Contact Taylor Moss at taylor@azdrc.org if you have any questions.

This training will be given by the Election Protection AZ Partners: All Voting is Local, Arizona Democracy Resource Center, and Native Vote.
