Add Your Voice to Protect Creation: Sign-on Opportunities for Faith Leaders

From Arizona Faith Network comes this request to protect endangered species and clean water.

“Our partners at the National Religious Partnership for the Environment (NRPE) are urgently seeking signatures from faith leaders on two critical petitions that defend our shared moral responsibility to safeguard creation.”

Right now, federal actions are being considered that would weaken bedrock environmental protections—and faith voices are needed to speak clearly for justice, life, and the integrity of our ecosystems.

🌿 Endangered Species Act Faith Leader Petition (Deadline: December 15)
This sign-on letter opposes efforts to roll back key provisions of the Endangered Species Act—one of the nation’s most effective tools for protecting vulnerable species and the biodiversity essential to flourishing communities.

💧 Clean Water Act Faith Leader Comment (Deadline: January 5)
The EPA is considering a rule that would remove federal protections from up to 80% of wetlands, placing drinking water, ecosystems, and climate resilience at risk. Faith leaders are invited to submit a comment urging the EPA to preserve robust clean water protections.

Both actions represent significant threats to the health of our environment, especially for communities already facing climate and ecological injustice. Your signature can help ensure that faith perspectives are clearly represented in these national decisions.

If you’re a clergy member or faith leader, we encourage you to add your name and share widely with your networks.
