Why This Matters

The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC), the government body that regulates utilities, is taking public comment on a proposed rule that would require greater investment in energy efficiency to reduce the amount of electricity we use and require a clean energy standard to reduce carbon emissions 100% by 2050. Also included are provisions to require more investment in renewable energy in coal-affected communities and greater transparency and accountability in the planning process. 

Please sign the letter supporting adoption of the clean energy rules and add a personal comment to the commissioners.
