Anti-Hunger Day at the Capitol

  • Arizona Capitol ~ Wesley Bolin Plaza 1700 West Washington Street Phoenix, AZ, 85007 United States (map)

Please join us on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 12pm for Arizona Food Bank Network’s annual Anti-Hunger Day at the Capitol! This is a great opportunity to learn about the core work and community programming at food banks and how you can support anti-hunger policies like continued funding for school meals in the state budget.

A complimentary lunch will be available for pre-registered participants!

Would you like to engage more with AzFBN's work at the Capitol? One of the best and easiest ways to let a committee know your position on a bill is by using the Arizona Legislature’s Request to Speak system. By logging in and submitting your position, your voice is documented for lawmakers and the bill’s record. While the title suggests you may be required to speak in committee, it is not required.

If you are interested in creating an RTS account, you can fill out LAMA’s online form here.

Please note: Accounts for the Request to Speak must be created at the Capitol but can then be accessed remotely. LAMA will create an account for you using a temporary password and email you the confirmation.
