Registration is now open for the 2022 ELCA World Hunger Leadership Gathering!
Join ELCA World Hunger leaders from across the country and around the world this August in Chicago. We will celebrate your ministry, connect with friends and colleagues and equip you to keep working together toward a just world where all are fed.
Hear from speakers who will abundantly inspire your work. Visit hunger ministries that will spark new ideas. Participate in training and workshops which will deliver skills you take back boldly to your synod. And connect with others engaged in this vital work of hunger justice.
Along with the World Hunger Leadership Gathering, you’ll be a part of the ELCA Service & Justice BECOMING Conference. You will meet and learn from leaders of all corners of the ELCA’s social justice ministries.

Who is invited?
Each synod is invited to bring up to three participants to the event.
To reflect the diversity of our church, synods bringing three participants must ensure that at least one participant is a youth, young adult or person of color. A discounted registration rate will apply for the third representative.

What's the cost?
All registrations include airfare, room & board for three nights, four days and all event costs.
We will be gathering and staying at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare.
Standard registration - $400 per person
Discounted registration* - $250 per person

Tip: When you register online, under “Select events” first select a ticket for the Becoming Conference (at the top of the list) for each of the people you are registering. Select “Network Gathering”. Then select an option from the “World Hunger Leadership Gathering” (further down the page under “Thursday, August 25th”). Select tickets for each person you are registering. which corresponds to your participation.
