New Advocacy 101 Tool Kit from LSS-SW

Our partners at Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest recently released a new Advocacy 101 Tool Kit!

If you feel called to engage in faith-based advocacy but don’t know how to begin, this tool kit is a great place to start! Take some time to watch the 20-minnute video below and review the accompanying slideshow to learn more about how YOU can start advocating for those in need!

After watching the video, take some time to go through the following slide-show. This presentation was designed to be given in person, but it is still helpful to read on your own. If you have any follow up questions afterward, please email our office at hungerfellow@lamaz.org.

If you wish to lead your congregation or group in an Advocacy 101 training, please reach out to our office for a copy of the presentation script or answers to any of your questions!

General (not specifically faith-based) Guide

LSS-SW also has developed a general guide which can be used by all of our friends, family, and partners, whether or not they approach advocacy from a faith basis. That 20-minute video is here.
