Complete the GCS Hunger Ministry Survey

Calling all GCS Pastors and Hunger Leaders: We need 2 minutes of your time

The Grand Canyon Synod Resolution S23.01 titled Encouraging congregations to support local hunger ministries, increase awareness of hunger and poverty issues, and increase opportunities to financially support the work of ELCA World Hunger was unanimously approved at Synod Assembly on June 10, 2023. Read more about it.

Phase 1 in the Resolution rollout is gathering data. The GCS HLN plans to track the hunger ministries and hunger leaders in every GCS congregation so that as we #connectpeople we might support and learn from one another.

Please complete this 1.5-minute survey for your church. Our goal is 100% participation across the synod. Complete survey here.

The GCS Hunger Leaders Network celebrates its 2-year anniversary in June 2023. The network meets virtually on the last Tuesday of the month ~ meetings include spotlighting a local hunger ministry or organization, an update from churchwide, and news on resources, grants and upcoming events. An important part of the meeting is a round-robin in which the network members share about their own work.
