Arizona Faith Network has launched the 2026 Faithful AZ Voter Pledge, inviting people of faith across Arizona to commit to participating thoughtfully and faithfully in the November 3 general election.
Being a faithful voter means more than casting a ballot. It means showing up for our neighbors and communities by learning about the issues, making a voting plan, using trustworthy information and encouraging others to participate.
For Lutherans, voting is one way we live out our baptismal calling to serve our neighbors and seek the well-being of all. We may not agree about every candidate or policy, but we can share a commitment to respectful participation, equitable access to the ballot and elections free from intimidation and violence.
Take the pledge
By taking the Faithful AZ Voter Pledge, you can commit to:
Confirming that your voter registration is current.
Learning about the candidates and ballot measures.
Making a plan for when and how you will vote.
Relying on trusted, nonpartisan election information.
Encouraging family, friends and members of your faith community to participate.
Helping make the election safe and welcoming for every eligible voter.
Take the 2026 Faithful AZ Voter Pledge
After signing, invite at least three other people to join you. Congregations can share the pledge in newsletters, worship announcements, adult forums, social media and voter-engagement events.

Arizona’s voter-registration deadline for the November 3 general election is October 5, 2026, and early voting begins October 7.

Faithful civic participation is not about telling people how to vote. It is about helping every eligible voter participate safely and confidently, approaching public decisions with care for our neighbors and remembering that our common life continues after Election Day.
Take the pledge, make your plan and help someone else make theirs.
When you vote, take time also TO remind your family and friends to vote by posting a photo of yourself voting to social media. If you tag AFN in your post (@ArizonaFaithNetwork on Facebook, @az.faith.network on Instagram, @AzFaithNetwork on X) with the hashtag #FaithfulAZVoter, AFN will be sure to "give it some love" as well.
