As of July 21, 2026, new data shows Arizona’s SNAP participation remains down sharply, reminding us that the hunger relief wins in Arizona’s FY2027 budget are important but not nearly enough. Check the SNAP tracker.

LAMA joined a national call to protect SNAP and reduce barriers for students facing hunger, a concern made visible here in Arizona by campus food pantries working to ensure no student has to learn on an empty stomach.
