Walk with Valley Interfaith Project to close the vaccination gap!

Come out and walk with VIP! Valley Interfaith Project (VIP) will be talking with residents of one of Maricopa County's most under-vaccinated zip codes, 85031 in Maryvale.

To close the COVID vaccination gap, VIP is partnering with Maricopa County Public Health Department and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church to offer a vaccine clinic at their parish. Advocates will be walking in the 85031 neighborhood to spread the word about vaccines and their local vaccination clinic.

While some zip codes have vaccination rates above 75%, in Maryvale's 85031 neighborhood only 25.3% of residents have received at least one vaccination. 85031 has the 3rd lowest vaccination rate in Maricopa County.

Join VIP as they block-walk on
 April 24 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and
May 1, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Meet at St. Vincent de Paul School, 3130 N. 51st. Ave., Phoenix.

Especially needed and welcome are Spanish speakers, but all are welcome! Also needed are drivers and other walkers as well.

You will be trained in how to engage in conversations about vaccines and given the materials you'll need. Come out and help VIP close the vaccination gap!
