Last year, the strengthened tax credit helped cut childhood poverty from 9.7 to 5.2 percent! Four congregations in the Ahwatukee Foothills area, including three GCS churches, sponsored a CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, November 13, 2022. The Walk generated $11,000 in donations, and raised awareness of local hunger concerns as well as highlighting the global hunger story.
