In Memoriam: Rev. Arthur “Art” Simon
Rev. Art Simon (1930-2023) was the founder of Bread for the World. He authored numerous books, including How Much is Enough? Hungering for God in an Affluent Culture and The Rising of Bread for the World. He served as the director of the Washington office of Christian Children’s Fund, and pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in the Lower East Side of NYC.
